Last Night's Action: March 27 '08

The action was explosive as ever last night at CageMatch! Coming off of the slobberknocker that was Wrestleslamania III, the entire league has been in an upheaval. Victories, defeats, betrayal. Everything you’d want from the best damn comedy wrestling league in the nation!
The show kicked off with new Intercontinental Heavweight Champion of the World Uncle Eddie being formally presented with his belt by UCBW Owner and CEO of CageMatch Chuck McMahon. Uncle Eddie delivered an impassioned speech about coming so far with the help of the UCBW fan support he has earned over his career. He also addressed his erstwhile tag team partner and relative Constantine Edison, saying he forgives him for dressing up in a wackadoo bunny costume and crucifying him in his match against The Frat Boy. Many speculate as to why Constantine would betray his good friend and uncle, but most people seem to believe it stems from the Fuck You Fourway match where Uncle Eddie had to defeat Constantine for a shot at the title. Abruptly, the power was cut and Constantine’s disembodied spirit voice started to taunt Uncle Eddie. What will become of Con Edison in the coming weeks?
Debuting in the ring last night were two fierce competitors. Phineas J. Punchmug foxtrotted into the ring with all the style of a Roaring 20’s pugilist, and with the Good Lord by his side, in stepped Kirk Cameron, former child star and current Born Again Christian. Punchmug started strong, getting Kirk into a vicious Charleston and further punishing him with The Bees Knees. Kirk fought back hard with a Bible beating and even calling on The Lord On High Jesus Christ to distract Punchmug. Kirk assailed Punchmug until finally putting him into the Show Me That Smile. It was too much for the man of fisticuffs, and he was forced to tap out. The rest of the UCBW Megastars will have to look out for the cocky Cameron, and the perturbed Punchmug!
Before the night’s end, the UCBW arena was visited by the nasty and ungrateful Varsity Boys. The high school wrestling champs came to the ring to throw their unwashed gym clothes at the crowd and taunt Uncle Eddie. What could these high school jocks have against the dedicated employee of the local power company? Only time will tell, UCBW fans!
